There are restrictions as to when and where you can use your cellphone, but you may bring it with you. Phone privileges are issued on a case-by- case basis and are established between the client and their primary therapist after intake.
You may bring your personal laptop. Usage will be established on a case-by- case basis.
Please come with a pre-paid Visa or American Express card. Our admissions staff will also send you a credit card authorization form to be kept on file for various items including medication, co-pays, etc. We shop once a week for items such as cigarettes, specific snacks, etc.
Yes, smoking is allowed in designated areas of the facility.
Families and loved ones will usually be contacted within 72 hours of intake (assuming the client signs a release for that specific person).
We will contact you as soon as our driver greets your loved one at the airport terminal. We have everything to make our clients feel comfortable here including luxurious private suites, high-speed Internet access, HDTV, and gourmet dining. Our clients feel right at home with all of our amenities.
Unless a client signs a release for a specific individual, HARP is not allowed to acknowledge that person is at the facility. Sometimes clients will rescind a release for a loved one for whatever reason. We always encourage clients to sign releases, but they are adults and under HIPAA, they are protected and able to release, or not release, information to whomever they choose. Please understand that there are circumstances that we simply cannot control, but we make every effort to encourage involvement from loved ones.
Clients may not have visitors during their first week of treatment. After that guests must be approved by the client’s primary therapist. Visitation is located at HARP’s waterfront property. Please call your guest’s primary therapist for the address. All visitors must sign in prior to entering the property. If you are not on the list, you are not allowed on the property, no exceptions.
