Far from just a simple 12-step program, our client-centric approach combines alternative and conventional treatment methods to create an innovative treatment plan tailored to each client’s specific needs. Our holistic treatment method combined with the beautiful, serene setting of HARP’s facilities and professional, experienced, and determined staff ensures that your goal of sustainable sobriety is achieved. At HARP, we address the core issues, ensuring sustainable recovery using the following methodology.
Assess & Evaluate
In order for treatment to be successful, we must address the problem correctly – with an accurate diagnosis. In Phase One, each client meets with their primary therapist for an intensive, one-on-one session in which a physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and spiritual assessment is performed. This allows our therapists to better understand each client and their unique needs and background.
Phase One is the most important step in our treatment process as it lays the foundation upon which each client’s treatment plan is built and a relationship is formed.
Establish Treatment Goals & Objectives
After we’ve learned more about each client and their history, we begin to identify the core issues that must be addressed and determine the treatment method best suited to addressing them. Based on these core issues, we work with the client to develop a list of treatment objectives that will shape their treatment process. Our therapists provide each client with the tools and techniques they need to achieve these goals and overcome their issues in a healthy, non-destructive manner.
Design & Customize
After establishing treatment goals and objectives in Phase Two, we are able to create a customized treatment plan and short-term goals to accurately assess the client’s progress. During Phase Three, we also discuss continuing care plans to ensure that our clients receive the support they need once they complete treatment.
Treatment plans may include:
Phase Four is the most rewarding step in the process for both the client and our staff. During this phase, the client begins to see the progress they’re making in treatment and gains knowledge and insight about themselves. These realizations help to keep spirits high and encourage clients to continue in their efforts towards recovery.
Analyze, Collaborate, Re-Evaluate
Once the treatment plan begins, our clinical staff meet regularly to evaluate and assess the progress of each patient’s treatment. During these meetings, the client’s primary therapist collaborates with other staff members to analyze the progress being made. This collaboration process ensures that no issues are being ignored and that the client is utilizing the techniques they’ve learned in a healthy and effective manner.
